LET'S PRETEND

I could not sleep this morning and I as lay in the darkness my mind started reviewing the information known about the disappearance of Caylee Anthony. Most of the information I have is from the media and some is information that I researched online. Let's pretend we are the investigators and try to sort the information in the search for Caylee. First I must say that I believe Caylee is alive and well.
Caylee is believed to have disappeared on June 9, 2008. Whether that is factual remains to be seen but nevertheless, she has been missing since the first part of June. Her mother, Casey Anthony, has lied about everything and shows no emotion about her missing daughter. This tells me that she is secure in her feeling that Caylee is safe and in good hands.
Information as to who the father is has two fronts. Casey says he is dead. Cindy Anthony, Casey's mom, says she does not know Caylee's father and can't remember his name. I find this a bit suspect as if my daughter had become pregnant at age 19 or 20 and was unmarried, there would be conversation about it. Let us get a copy of the birth certificate and determine if a father was named. If so, this will lead us in another direction. Now we can determine if he is dead or alive. If no father is named, it is time for us to go back three years and talk with friends, acquaintance and co-workers. You can bet someone somewhere had conversation with her about the pregnancy and the worth of the father. Caylee was left with Zenaida Gonzalez or so Casey says. Zenaida Gonzalez is an unusual name to make up. Why not Carmen or Rosa? Well you get my point. Cindy says that Casey had business in Tampa so I looked in the records of the Clerk of Circuit Court Hillsborough County and found a Zenaida Gonzalez. This information was forwarded to the Orange County Sheriff's Office immediately. Tampa also has a large airport and that may have been the destination. Somewhere I heard that New York was mentioned as a place where Caylee may be. This takes me back to the baby's father. Is he in New York? Does Casey want to keep this fact from her parents? Has she allowed the child to visit the father for a few weeks in the summer which she, as the parent, has the right to do?
The family seems to be in denial that Casey has anything to do with the disappearance of Caylee. As a parent I would be in that jail house everyday interviewing, interrogating and begging her to tell the truth. While they are pleading with thousands of people, strangers, to help find Caylee, the answer is sitting in the Orange County Jail.
As investigators lets get Casey's school records and determine what kind of student she was. Did she have discipline or mental problems. What kind of parents does she have? Let us look into her her financial records, phone records, and I bet she had a computer.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office is one of the finest in the United States. You can bet they are not leaving any stone unturned. Our job is to be the extra eyes and ears for the OCSO in search for Caylee, praying for her safe return.

I hope you are right about Caylee being alive and your reason for it but my concern is if she did not harm Caylee why would she not tell the truth so she could get out of jail? If it was me I'd rather have people think that I am a bad mom versus a murderer of my own child. Just a thought. You brought up some good investigative ideas but that is not surprise since you were once in LE. Do you think OCSO is doing any of those things? I hope so.

I am confident that the OCSO is doing everything within their realm of authority. Nothing could be more rewarding than to locate Caylee alive. I do have doubts as to the whole Anthony family's thinking. I just heard they are asking that Casey be released because she knows where Caylee might be and she can help with the investigation. Then we could have another Trenton Duckett case. Maybe when the deputies get the turnip truck stopped, they will do that.
