Casey Anthony's Friends Reveal New Details To Channel 9
Topics: NewsORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Friends of arrested mother Casey Anthony revealed to Channel 9 what she was really doing since her daughter's disappearance. Casey Anthony's friends are still freaking out over how she acted as though she hadn't a care in the world during the time she now says she had no idea where her daughter Caylee was.
Friends told Eyewitness News Casey celebrated Independence Day with her boyfriend Tony Lazarro. She partied and cooked dinner for him and his roommate.
Friends said Lazzaro believed she worked as an event planner at Universal Studios for the two months they were together. She told him her boss allowed her to work from her computer at his Winter Park apartment. They found out later from her family she wasn't earning the money she was spending. Instead, Casey was running up her mother's credit cards.
When Casey called Lazarro for a ride from the Amscot where she abandoned her car, she claimed it had broken down and that her father was going to get it to a shop later. That car holds some of the most significant evidence investigators have revealed, possible evidence of Caylee's hair, a suspicious stain and the odor of human decomposition, all in the trunk.
While Casey was in court on Tuesday trying to get out of jail on bond, detectives were at her boyfriend's apartment complex going door-to-door asking residents whether they've seen Casey and Caylee there. An employee at Sutton Place Apartments remembered, sadly, how she'd seen them at a swimming pool in early June with Lazarro. Caylee was playing with dishes in the pool, yelling happily, "Look at me, look at me."
Arrested Mom's Ex-Fiancé Reveals Information That Could Change Timeline
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News learned Casey Anthony's ex-fiancé now says he heard 2-year-old Caylee Anthony during a phone call on June 24, after her last reported sighting. On the same day of Anthony's bond hearing, her ex-fiancé contradicted Casey Anthony's timeline of events in a sworn statement to deputies Tuesday afternoon.
The man, identified only as Jesse, told Eyewitness News and deputies Tuesday that he believes little Caylee Anthony was with her mother Casey much more recently than Casey has let on.
Casey claims she last saw the little girl on June 9, when she left her with a babysitter. But Jesse now says he called Casey on Tuesday, June 24 and heard her scolding the little girl for jumping up on the table in the background. He then heard the girl's young voice in the background responding and told Eyewitness News he is 100 percent sure that it was Caylee.
If true, that would be a major wrench in the timeline Casey Anthony has given deputies. It is a full two weeks after Casey says she last saw Caylee. Jesse told Eyewitness News he remembers the day clearly, because it was the very day he resigned from the Orlando Police Department. He said he called Casey to let her know and said phone records show the call was 18 minutes long.
Eyewitness News talked with Casey's parents for about 15 minutes inside their home Tuesday, hoping to get their reaction to thepotentially major change in the timeline, but they declined to comment specifically, saying they didn't want to jeopardize the investigation.
It was only three days later that, Jesse said, he spoke to Casey again and she told him that Caylee was with a babysitter, so she would be free to go to the beach the next day.
The family acknowledges that Jesse is a friend and said they were not surprised he's making the claim.

need to do some old fashion ways of getting info from her while in jail. maybe a guard look the other way, while some of the mothers on the inside show her the way and maybe get more info the poilce could use.when fear kicks in and no one to help maybe she will talk for the sake of her life.....

i feel that casey needs to stay in jail until she reveal the where abouts of her little girl i feel that if she really truely love her little girl she will tell where she is.and all of her freinds,mother and father and brother needs to stop covering for her so that little girl can return home.and if shes dead they need to tell where she is so she can have a proper burial and rest in piece they need to stop making her suffer.casey is not a good mom at all.

HELLO has this girl been drug tested in any way this whole time.I am on Casey and her parents side,but I have lived in Fla..has it dawned on anyone that Casey could owe money due to partying,if you knew what drugs she was on at time of dissaperance youd prob. find Caylee.All you need is her drug dealer,theyre prob scarred to say all that stuff;and why she wont talk.The truth is unbelievable thats why shee wont talk.She knows you cant keep her or kill her in prison w no evidece why would she talk to anyone,I wouldnt and unfortunatly ive been in some tough spots like her i have been following case and i can almost read the looks on her face.She owes someone somthing and they are using Caylee to get it.Or she freaked out and is punishing her parents.OH yeah im a spoiled brat too.I Hve had simalar life to Casey,and know lots of gals in that area like her.maybe the kid accidently died while mommy wasnt paying attention or had drugs in her system that would find her incompetent.I would love to talk to Casey she doesnt aven have to talk about the case.She needs a hug no matter what happend.

Angela, I don't know the answer about whether Casey has been tested for drugs but I am sure that if drugs were a problem, she would have shown some signs by now. Any of the scenarios you mentioned are possible but it is easier to admit to drug use, debt and fear than to allow your daughter to be in the hands of people who may cause her harm. Wouldn't is be feasible for a drug dealer to say, "I found this little girl wandering at wherever and I think it is the missing Caylee Anthony. Let me have the $250,000.00 reward money." This is truly a strange case and the truth will be revealed; it may take longer than most of us would like but the truth will prevail.

She knows full well where that little girl is. Put her in general population in the prison...she wouldn't last five minutes. There are plenty of women in there who don't ever get to see their kids...normally I don't advocate vigilante justice, but in this case I would look the other way.

I feel this situation has transpired in this manor. Casey being as careless and irresponsible as she is, left caylee asleep in her vehicle to nap (babys do that)not intending on staying very long where ever it was that she was, she lost track of time. When she finally returned to her vehicle caylee had gotten so over heated in the vehicle that she expired. casey finding her in the car like that and knowing what would happen took her to her mom and dads to try to cool her body down in the pool ( hence the ladder and the dogs hitting on the spots in the back yard. when she found that didnt work, she placed caylee in the trunk of her car, called her cop boyfriend and followed his instructions. THEY ARE ALL GUILTY!!!!!

As a mother of 2 daughters, I cannot for the life of me, even begin to understand how anyone, especially a mother, could let her daughter stay missing for as long as she did Caylee, and not report it. Whatever her reasons were, I just hope and pray, that little Caylee did not suffer, at her time of death. The thought of that baby, suffering through an agonizing death, is heart wrenching. Fly with the angels now Caylee, and know, even though the world did not know you personally, we all love you now.
