AMANDA'S STORY
Topics: General
On March 13, 1991 Amanda Victoria Brown was born prematurely to Roy Brown and Kathy Hartman. A moment of joy that grew into hours of happiness, everyday for nearly seven years but suddenly brought to an abrupt halt on September 11, 1998. Until that time Amanda divided her time between her mother and father, living a reasonably normal life. At least as normal as a child of a broken home can have.
Amanda took on the responsibilities of the "lady of the house," when with her father, as she loved doing her version of housework and pampering her dad. Roy built her a stool that allowed her to stand at the sink and wash dishes. The brooms and mops were cut off to "pint size" so she could use them with ease. As a little Miss Priss she chastised his friends whenever they visited and made a mess. She loved being the lady of the house and took great pride in her responsibilities.
She would go to work at the body shop with Roy and soon became knowledgeable of the various makes of vehicles, easily identifying them. Roy and Amanda had a special relationship as a father and daughter should. She would sit on his lap as he combed her hair. It was a time of chatting, a time between a father and his daughter.
Amanda a loving child trusted those around her but unfortunately on September 11, 1998 trusted the wrong one. A snake disguised as a person slithered into her life and bought her trust. He took her from the home of her mother, to his residence. An innocent, loving child was murdered by a slimy slug who has no reason to be on this earth. The details of Amanda’s death, too gruesome to tell, committed by a dreg of humanity. The scourge, a sexual predator, child molester and murderer, without a soul, lives on death row stealing oxygen from this earth.
Amanda has never been found although her memory is embedded in our heart and soul. The search will never end for Amanda and the rabble that took her life will burn in hell.
Amanda we will be together again but until then, rest lovingly and peacefully in arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
