JUST ANOTHER DAY
Topics: GeneralAmanda's birthday came and went. To some it was just another day but to the Brown Family it was a sad day. Roy and Sylvia popped into town, visiting the Courtney Campbell Causeway at the boat ramp to pay respects to their murdered child.
While in Florida they took the time to visit the family of Zachary Barnhardt, who has been missing since September 11, 2000 from Clearwater, Florida. They also visited with Josh Duckett father of Trenton Duckett who has been missing since August 10, 2006.
It was a quick trip with a lot to do and have since returned to Lexington, KY. The next trip planned with be September 11, 2008 when Roy and Sylvia will be at the Courtney Campbell Causeway, the day of Amanda's disappearance in 1998. This will be the 10th anniversary of her death and she is yet to be found though her murderer is on Death Row at Florida State Prison.
Roy and Sylvia appreciate all of you that give them words of encouragement and support.

Thank you Bud for acknowledging a very sad day in our lives. What once was a day for celebration has now turned into a day of sorrow. To some it is old news and not worth their time to cover a very important day in our lives. However we would like to thank Warren Ely and everyone at Channel 13 for making the time to cover our story. They continue to be true friends to the Brown Family. And again thank you for being a very good friend and now a part of our family. Love to you and Patty. Roy & Sylvia

Celebrate all of Amanda's special days with earnest joy and total bliss. Do not let that monster ever take that away from you! He has stolen too much from you and Amanda already. Don't ever let him have this!
Amanda is still a bright and powerful beam of blissful joy and she always will be.
You have done so much to bring this ugly predatory behavior to light. Do not ever stop. Every seed you plant will take root in it's own time and become it's own blossom.
Weather a blossom of teaching, comfort, support, truth, safety, hope...it will be helpful to many others in the way it is intended. Even anger can be a powerful tool.
God Bless you guy's and all of your efforts!
