Teen Charged With Molesting 2-Year-Old

ST. PETERSBURG - James Staton is charged with the molestation and sexual battery of a two-year-old boy, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Staton was arrested Friday afternoon.

Detectives said Staton, 18, admitted to the acts, which took place in the 4300 block of 56th Ave. North during the last month.

Staton is facing charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and capital sexual battery, PCSO said.

He is being held without bail.
