WHAT DO AMANDA and ELENA HAVE IN COMMON?

Topics: General

ElenaSemander_small.jpgAbrown.jpg What do these beautiful girls have in common, other than their heart warming smiles? More than you know. Elena taken from this world as she was entering into her early years of adulthood. Amanda was taken in her early years of life. Both are loved and missed more than words can express. Both have family and friends who love them so much their hearts ache everyday. Now it has been learned that the dregs of society that took their lives have articles for sale on a murderbilia site. The Brown and Semander families have joined forces to legally have the murderbilia sites removed from the internet. Roy Brown in Tampa and Harriet Semander of Houston spoke to each other on the phone tonight, agreeing to merge their energies and resources to attempt to have legislation enacted prohibiting the sale of murderbilia items.

It is difficult for the average person to understand why anyone would want to aid these maggots, who have no respect for human life, obtain any money or notoriety knowing they committed atrocities to another human. The greed of money, lack of being taught respect and not being exposed to morals may have something to do with it as well.

We wish Roy and Harriet the best in their endeavor and hope others will join in the fight.
If you would like to join in the fight to prevent the sale of Murderbilia in your State, please contact support@amandabrownfoundation.org.

ELENA SEMANDER
I wish I could meet you in person, but I was murdered over 20 years ago by a man named Coral Eugene Watts. Back in 1982, Watts followed me to my friend’s apartment complex where he strangled me with my shirt, hog-tied my body, and threw me into a nearby trash dumpster. I fought as hard as I could… but lost my life in the end. After the garbage man found me the next day, my family received the heartbreaking phone call from the Houston Police Department.

Coral Eugene Watts would eventually lead police to 3 bodies and confess to 13 murders; I was his 5th victim. Although he was sentenced to 60 years, an old Texas law will require Watts to be released back into society after serving only 24 of those years. This unjust law was abolished in 1995, but cannot be made retroactive. His release date was scheduled for December of 2005. Please sign my petition to ask the Governor of Texas to review this case, and somehow prevent my killer’s early release. Thank you for giving me a voice.

AMANDA BROWN
March 13, 1991 - September 11, 1998
*Amanda Victoria Brown born March 13, 1991, pure of heart, innocent in mind entered onto this earth bringing joy to everyone she touched. With sparkling eyes and angelic smile-truly a face of innocence-Amanda was enjoying life, chasing butterflies and doing all those things that a seven year old enjoys. On September 11, 1998, her innocence was stolen: her promise of a future came to a chilling end. A convicted criminal, Willie Crain, with a repulsive past of sex crimes against children, stole Amanda from a peaceful sleep and to this day she has never been found.
*The details of what happened to Amanda are too gruesome to share, however, what happened to her should never happen to any child ever again.
