Missing Children's Day At the Boston State House

We are hosting our 7th Annual Massachusetts Missing Children's Day this year on Monday, May 21, 2007.
It is held at the Boston State House.
We leave our town of Warren, Ma. with two bus loads of people donated by a local bus company. ( due to Parking)
Each year, we have a theme. This year theme: Reflections;
"Tears and Triumph." We invite our Missing families, our Politicians, friends in the community and media so they can commemorate those who are still missing or abducted and murdered. It is a day for those families to remember those lost and murdered and those missing them.
Here is a brief description of our two hour program:
Massachusetts &th Missing Chalderns Day
Honor Gurard/Bagpeiper Open:
We have a special children's choir: "Magnificent Choir"
32 children coming to add to our musicals program .
We also have the talented Singing Trooper Dan Clark and his wife.
Displayed on posters our Missing and murdered children, will be the forefront on the "Wall of Wonder" with "forget me knots" placed in front of each, for each family to take home.
This year our preschool at Mount Wachusett will provide artwork to celebrate youth and the magic of children.
Program:
Welcome by John and Magi Bish
Prayer: local Priest Father Dan and Native American Black Feather
Parent introduction and special thoughts, comments,poems
Special Speakers: (All invited) varied guest will show and you will need to work with their time constrains)
Gov. and/or Lt. Gov.
Leaders of the House and Senate
Our State Senator and State Representatives.
Musical power point of Missing Children

Anna Maria College for the Molly Bish Center for Children and Elderly and Mount Wachusett Community College, Molly Bish Institute.

Names read and Bell rung with Children's Name
Rose Remembrance: Musical Power Point of all children, families accept rose and others come and take rose for those who cannot be there.
Book read
Closing Song
Balloon launch on State house steps with children's' picture and names attached.
Program booklets are made for keepsakes.
Everyone is given a white ribbon to where in remembrance of the "Missing child." We also ask for those who cannot make it to keep the "Light Their Way Home Program" going by leaving porch lights on and car lights on during travel.
It is an emotional and moving Day. Each year we try to add some new component, but have a basic framework to go by.
We are honored to be the We continue to hold our special Day at the State House so our legislatures will hear our children's voices, and need for support of good and honored legislation.
