HELP US BRING AMANDA HOME
Topics: GeneralSince September 11, 1998 Amanda's family and friends have not given up hope that Amanda will be found, given a decent burial and given the peace she deserves. Although the initial official search for Amanda subsided after the conviction of Willie Crain, it has not with the Brown family. While Willie Crain sits on death row receiving three meals a day, medical care when needed and enjoys a clean bed in which to sleep each night, it is a known fact that Amanda is somewhere, not able to enjoy anything and subject to all of mother nature's changes. How gratifying it would be to know that she has been lain to rest and that friends and family could visit the resting place to place flowers, to say a prayer or just let her know how much she is loved and missed.
Recently a new energized search has begun. A review of news articles, police reports and re-interview of key witnesses is underway. Not by law enforcement, but by personal friends of the Brown's. It is hoped that someone, somewhere has crucial information that will aid in the finding of Amanda. It is hoped that enough time has lapsed that the fear of prosecution as an accessory is no longer a fear. I can assure you that the Brown's have no desire to prosecute anyone else. Their desire is to find Amanda. It is believed that someone close to, or in the Crain family has information that will bring this nightmare to an end.
I will accept information with the condition of anonymity. Give the information to a third party, a minister, priest or attorney to be forwarded to BadnewsbearSO@cs.com. All we want to do is bring closure and lay Amanda to rest.
Mr. Crain, if you read this I beg that you reconsider your decision to remain silent and let someone know that it is OK to release the information or you use the 3rd party concept.
Amanda was a seven year old child. She was pure and innocent and did not deserve whatever happened to her. She enjoyed life, butterflies and even placed her trust in you as a responsible adult, playing games, doing homework and even smiled at you as you rewarded her for doing well.

Dear friends and family of Amanda I wish to say that I pray every day for the sucessful return of Amanda's body so each one of you can have a little more peace and she can be properly honored as the sweet little girl and true angel she was and still and always be.

Thank you for the kind words and we truly believe that your prayers along with all the others will soon bring peace to Amanda. She has been gone much too long.
