Four-Year-Old Shoots Father

ORLANDO - Authorities say an Orange County man was shot in the arm by his four-year-old son.
Deputies say Bruce Tanner left his Glock .45-caliber handgun out yesterday. His son picked it up and accidentally shot Tanner when he tried to get it out of the child’s hands.
Tanner’s wife heard the shot and called 9-1-1.
Tanner was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, but authorities say the parents could face misdemeanor charges because the loaded, unsecured weapon was accessible to a child.
