SWEET SIXTEEN PRESS RELEASE

Topics: General

Amanda Victoria Brown
March 13, 2007 would have been Amanda's sixteenth birthday.
The "Sweet Sixteen"

Eight and one half years later, we are still searching for Amanda.

On September 11, 1998 Amanda was abducted from her bed by a previously convicted child predator / molester. Although Amanda has never been found, her abductor has been convicted and is on Death Row. He refuses to reveal the whereabouts of Amanda so that the family can give her a proper burial.

In memory of Amanda's Sixteenth Birthday, Roy Brown, Amanda's father will be at the boat ramp on the Courtney Campbell Causeway to greet friends of Amanda. He invites anyone and everyone involved in the investigation, search and moral support to drop by and say Hello. During the time of the incident so many people, so much confusion and through the years he has regretted that he was not able to thank everyone personally. This is his way of celebrating her life, as short as it may have been, on what would be her Sixteenth Birthday.

The boat ramp is located on the north side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway, west bound Tampa side.

Roy will be there from 6:00 a.m. until ? Tuesday, March 13, 2007
