REMEMBERING AMANDA

Wendy Hallowell of Governor Crist's Office Tallhassee, hugs Sylvia as Roy, friends and family gather to remember Amanda's Sweet Sixteen birthday. Roy and Sylvia set up at the boat ramp on the Courtney Campbell Causeway before daylight to greet friends of Amanda.
To be such a beautiful Chamber of Commerce Day in Florida, the Brown family could only think of Amanda as this was the location of the operations center for the search September 11, 1998. Roy and Sylvia had cold water and cola drinks for anyone dropping by to visit. On a small table were brochures about the foundation and a notebook filled with pictures and news articles about Amanda's disappearance. Roy exhibited a bed sheet from 1998 with signatures of well wishers. Another sheet was unfolded for today's guests to sign.
Thanks to all who dropped by to say hello in rememberance of Amanda.
