Once again the children, while playing in their own domain, in Hillsborough County are approached by an individual trying to entice them to go with him. The children ranging in ages ten to thirteen years rejected his advances and notified the authorities. Arrested, Martin Jay Lieberman, 56, address at large and booked in the Hillsborough County Jail for: (6)Luring & Enticing Minor Child (7) Kidnapping - Committing Felony On A Child (1) Lewd & Lascivious Molestation (1) Possession of Cocaine (1) Possession Controlled Substance. Hillsborough records reflect that Liberman was arrested in Tampa on January 23, 2007 for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cannibis Less Than 20 Grams. The children involved in this event have to be praised for their determination to prevent, what could have been, a tragic occurrence. Again proving that safety in numbers is true.
It is important that parents and guardians of children reinforce the dangers, lurking everywhere in our society, especially with the child predator.
